DANCING is not only a pleasure for children, it keeps them fit, helps them with their grace and coordination, and gives them a sense of achievement. So if any of your youngsters has an inclination to itchy feet there are a number of classes for them at Merkinch Community Centre. Tap dancing classes (costing £1 per session) run from 5.30-7pm on Tuesdays for beginners, and 7-8pm on Thursdays for the more advanced. And there are Highland Dancing classes (costing £2) on Thursdays for beginners (4.45-5.45pm) and intermediate (5.45-6.45pm) and for advanced pupils 5-7pm on Mondays.
