THE Monday and Wednesday slots at the community centre are coming on nicely. The crèche is well established and staffed by permanent workers. We have had two sessions on body language and children, looking at how children learn, why they behave the way they do, and how we can change this for the better.
We have also started a series of four sessions on confidence building.
After the October break on Mondays we will have three sessions of aromatherapy, followed by three more cooking sessions covering healthy snacks, cooking with children and Christmas food.
Wednesday mornings will be arts and crafts. These are joint ventures with MP33 and WEA; places are free but booking is essential and can be done through MP33 on 717639.
The Janny’s Hoose is all painted and we should be moving in any day. Why not come in and see what we’re up to, have a look around the house, have a coffee and a blether.
This month’s walk will be on 9th October and we will set off from the Janny’s Hoose, all welcome and we’ll walk as far (or little) as you want. Cuppa provided.
