MERKINCH Primary School held a Book Fair last month thereby adding to the school library. The more books sold, the more the school receives as a discount. Many took advantage of the opportunity to purchase early Christmas presents and even after one day the sum taken in was well into three figures. The event is manned by four pupils at a time on a rota basis.
