New tenants come to Grant Street

THE premises at Nos 2 and 4 Grant Street formerly occupied by Merkinch Enterprise have been leased. At a full Highland Council Inverness Area meeting on Monday 22nd September, councillors agreed to lease the offices to Options for Independence, a part of the British Red Cross. These will be the administrative offices for the provision of assistance to the disabled within the area. A meeting of Highland Council’s Planning Committee on 7th October will discuss the controversial application for a sandwich/ takeaway change of use at the corner of Lower Kessock Street and Grant Street.
