Work has a now started on the Telford Road Care in the Community Development and the Robertson Group, who won the Private Finance Initiative to develop within the Highland area, have set up a liaison group.

The aim of the committee is to talk to and and keep the local community up to date on all developments. Jan Stobbart, Project Manager, Highland Primary Care NHS Trust says "At this stage of the developments, where the basic building work is starting it’s more the traffic and other issues concerning access which local people have concerns about. The Robertson Group have been chatting with the local Resident Associations, taking on board any concerns which may be raised regarding the initial building work. We are kept informed on developments through meeting with the Robertson Group once a month. When the building work is finished we will then step in. Our job then will be to take over the liaison group and one of the first things we are planning is inviting the local community in to see the development."
