THE Northern Constabulary report that the three closed-circuit cameras in South Kessock have now been installed at the Kessock Avenue roundabout, the Community House in Craigton Avenue and at the West Field. They are of the globe type, which means that they have all-round visibility and those with mischief in mind cannot tell whether the cameras are covering them or not.

The Police have also been clamping down on those vehicles throughout the area which have out-of-date road tax discs. Drivers are advised to be sure they have the appropriate disc in view or they could find themselves out of pocket.

As reported elsewhere, Operation Eagle is an on-going success story, despite the occasional blip but as one local resident remarked, It will be a success when people are fighting to get into a house in the Ferry!
