ANNE McCreadie, who has been secretary of Merkinch Community Council for almost all its entire 25 years, has resigned, saying she wants more time to herself. She told the August meeting that she would be happy to play a less demanding role.
Mrs McCreadie is heavily involved in negotiations surrounding the hand-over of the Community Centre to local authority management. In January she announced that she was retiring from organising the Centre’s Burns supper.
