HEAD of Education, Culture and Leisure Services at Highland Council, Ian Murray, met with directors of Merkinch Community Centre on 20th August to discuss the details of staffing conditions and the timescale of the hand-over and other issues for the local authority’s adoption of the Centre.
The matter is to be discussed at the ECL committee meeting this month. Meantime, it is business as usual at the Community Centre with its usual wide range of classes and services.
