Merkinch Gala Day goes with a swing

GALA Day at Merkinch Community Centre was once again a roaring success, despite a late shower. The crowds turned out and all the stands did a roaring trade.

Street Parade Pillow Fight Active Adults Strawberry Parade

LEFT - Pipers led the parade from Grant Street to Coronation Park.
CENTER - Just hanging in there at the pillow fighting.
RIGHT - the Active Adults group in their strawberry costumes were in the parade advertising their most excellent strawberry teas, which as always were well patronised.
