They are among a group of young people, nine from Ghana and nine from this country, who are visiting Inverness on a cross-cultural exchange under the aegis of the VSO (Volunteer Services Overseas) and the Princes Trust.

Dave Smith from Liverpool has been paired up with Ghanaian Joseph Owusu-ansah. They will be working at the Community Centre, the Corbett Centre and mp33. After their stay in the Highlands they will then go to Ghana for three months. Members of the group were at Merkinch Gala and danced for the crowd - see pages 6 and 7.
