SAINT Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Abban Street held its annual fete on 24th August. Earlier in the month Canon Len Black completed the topping out ceremony on the first stage of the £300,000 restoration works on the church which have been going on for some months. Canon Black is a real ale fan and to mark the occasion the Isle of Skye brewery came up with a special St Michael’s Steeple ale!
The work is expected to be complete by October.
