THESE colourful banners, made by local youngsters, were one of the high points of the Gala Day parade from Grant Street to the Community Centre. Also involved were pipers, African drummers, and the Girls of St Trinians, to name but a few. Due to the warm breeze, most of the stalls were indoors, but a range of demos, displays and activities were held outdoors making for a highly successful day all round.
