CROWDS turned out to see Daniel O’Donnell at the Corbett Centre’s Open Day. A nice little earner for the Centre was the £1 coins people were delighted to pay into a bucket to have their picture taken with the Irish singing star. Pictured above taking her turn is Jean - remember her from her days in Woolies? Daniel was welcomed to the Centre by the Merkinch Pipers, staff and attenders as well as fans and he thanked them with a chat and a song. A bring-and-buy table, Pets as Therapy, a bottle stall and a flower stall as well as teas and hamburgers all added to the fun.
